The Concept
Karaoke Without the Backing Track
Standard karaoke works off a pre-recorded track and a screen. Bandeoke works with a full live band. The difference is enormous — and your guests will feel it the moment they step up to the mic.
The band responds to the performer. If they slow down, the band slows down. If they improvise, the band improvises. If they forget the words, the band covers for them. The experience is dynamic, generous, and unlike anything a laptop and speaker system can provide.
It's the part of the night people film, and the part they bring up months later.

Song Requests
Guests submit song requests in advance or on the night using a simple sign-up process. We work from an extensive songbook of crowd favourites.

Called to the Stage
Each performer is called up, introduced and handed the mic. The crowd is already on their side before the first note plays.

Our musicians back every performer live. The energy, the spontaneity, the crowd reaction — it's a completely different experience to anything pre-recorded.

Common Questions
We have an extensive live repertoire covering pop, rock, indie, soul, Motown, 80s, 90s and 2000s. A full songbook is shared with you ahead of the event so guests can plan their moment — it's the same list we play as a band, and you can see all 181 songs here or download the songbook as a PDF.
In the years we've been running these nights, we've yet to play a room where nobody got up. Our host knows how to warm a crowd and get people to the stage. Once the first person goes up, the rest usually can't wait. There's no pressure — but there's always a queue.
Yes — a hybrid format is very popular. We typically do a full band set first to warm the room, then transition into Bandeoke. We can also reverse the format if preferred. Your night, your structure.
We recommend a minimum of 40 guests to generate the right energy and ensure enough variety in performers. Bandeoke is at its best with 80–200 guests, but we've delivered it successfully for both smaller and much larger crowds.
